As Rachel Green on the hit comedy series "Friends", Jennifer has received many awards. She was nominated for an Emmy in both 2001 and 2002 for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Also, she has been nominated for Favourite Female Television Performer on the People's Choice Awards three times and she won it in 2001 and 2002. She won the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role as a Golden Globe award. And she was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild for an Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.
After training professionally as a drama student, she won roles in off Broadway productions as "For Dear Life" and "Dancing on Checker's Grave". She got her first television role in 1989, a series called "Molloy". Other television roles she has been in includes "The Edge", "Ferris Buller", a recurring part on "Herman's Head" and guest-starring in "The Larry Sanders Show", "Partners", "Burke's Law" and "Quantum Leap". Also, Jennifer has starred in a number of films, including "The Object of My Affection," "Picture Perfect," "She�s the One," "�Til There Was You" and "Office Space."
